Opening Bell rings at the BSE for the first time after 80 years
20/11/2018. The Opening Bell is rung today at the Belgrade Stock Exchange after more than 80 years to signify the start of the trading in shares of the company Fintel Energija a.d. The company Fintel Energija a.d. is the first company to decide willingly to list its shares on the stock market.
Initially, from 500 dinars per share, the price in trading reached 506 dinars, and in a short time, the shares were sold for 755.2 million dinars. The Belgrade Stock Exchange was founded in 1894, two years before the Dow Jones index was established and it was one of the most influential stock exchanges in this part of the world.
The process of Initial Public Offering of Fintel Energija a.d. shares ended on 30 October, and during the offering period, over 1.5 million shares were registered, which was set as a minimum threshold for the success of this process.
