New investments in renewable energy sources in Serbia announced
The company MK Fintel Wind has started the construction of the first phase of Košava wind farm, near Vršac, which will be consisted of 20 windmills. The value of the works is 124 million eur.
The company MK Fintel Wind has started the construction of the first phase of the Košava wind farm, near Vršac, which is consisted of 20 windmills. The value of the works is 124 million euros.
As said at the laying of the foundation stone, it is planned that these works will be completed by the end of 2018 and these 20 wind generators have the power of 69 megawatts and produce electricity for about 40,000 households. After the construction of this first phase of the Košava wind farm in Izbište, as announced, the second phase envisages the construction of 19 additional wind generators and more than 100 million eur will be invested. Executive Director of Fintel Energia Spa and MK Fintel Wind Tiziano Giovannetti said that Košava wind farm has so far been the largest investment in Serbia in the field of renewable energy sources.
