Construction of the wind farm Košava near Vršac has started - The first phase of the project worth 124m EUR
The company MK Fintel Wind has started the construction of Košava, the third wind farm in Serbia and will invest 124 million eur in the construction of 20 wind generators. The completition of works is expected by the end of 2018.
Along with wind farms Kula, near Kula and the wind farm La Piccolina near Vršac, opened by MK Fintel Wind, the third wind farm will produce electricity for 40,000 households.
Aleksandar Antić, the Minister of Mining and Energy, Tiziano Giovannetti, Executive Director of Fintel Energia Spa and MK Fintel Wind, investors and numerous officials, attended the ceremonial marking of the beginning of the construction works on Košava wind farm.
After the construction of the first 20 turbines, the second phase in which we plan to build additional 19 turbines, whose value will exceed 100 million eur.
The Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antić expressed his belief that the wind farm project will be completedduring the next year.
