Construction of the third wind farm in Vršac has started
The company MK Fintel Wind has started the construction of the first phase of the third wind farm Košava, near Vršac, which will consist of 20 windmills. The value of the works is 124 million eur.
As stated at the laying the foundation stone, it is planned that these works will be completed by the end of 2018 and those 20 wind generators will have the power of 69 megawatts and will produce electricity for about 40,000 households.
As announced, after the construction of this first phase of the wind farm Košava, which is located in the town of Izbište, the second phaseenvisages the construction of 19 additional wind generators and more than 100 million euros will be invested.
Executive Director of Fintel Energia Spa and MK Fintel Wind Tiziano Giovannetti said that Košava wind farm is the largest investment in Serbia in the field of renewable energy.
